Nu Nation Choir
Under the guidance of John Walker Jr., Nu Nation was established in 2024 in New Orleans LA. Motivated by a vision to unite the youth and young adults of the city Mr. Walker identified the urgent need for healing within our community. In response to the daily challenges faced, Nu Nation was created to support the mental, physical, and spiritual well-being of its members. This dedicated group rehearses weekly at Union Bethel AME Church to deepen their relationship with God and share the gospel through inspiring praise and worship. Through regular rehearsals, Nu Nation develops exceptional vocal skills, delivers dynamic performances, and fosters a captivating presence while building lasting friendships. Ultimately, Nu Nation aims to create a meaningful impact through the transformative power of music.

Nu Nation, our mission is to empower and inspire youth and young adults through the power of music. We believe in fostering personal growth, promoting teamwork, and instilling discipline in our members. Our innovative music program provides a platform for individuals to express themselves while developing valuable life skills. Through choir performances, specialized music workshops, and mentorship programs, we aim to support the holistic development of our members.
Vision
Nu Nation is on a campaign to showcase how this generation desires the heart of God. Nu Nation focuses on the importance of spiritual development, the power of love, and a strong sense of choir camaraderie through song. Nu Nation is a ministry that allows youth and young adult individuals to overcome anxiety and take risks. They learn poise, composure, and the value of continued effort to achieve excellence.
